Andrew's Quilt

Andrew is the son of a very good friend, and he saw what I did for his sister's t-shirts and decided to get in touch.  Not only did he have shirts but he had a towel, which is something I'd never worked with before.

When I was initially doing the layout, I sort of thought it would look good like this:

 

But then Andrew let me know that the only part of the towel he cared about was the bear playing hockey.  So I rethought the design and ended up with this:

 

 And we both agree that it turned out really great!

All quilts by kate are one-of-a-kind originals. A quilt like this would be priced at $200.
